Stone Island is set to launch a new outerwear piece built with Harris Tweed, featuring eight different colors of wool that are spun together into a single yarn, then woven into a twill base for a distinctive look. The jacket itself is predicated on a concept of interchangeability: the outer shell comes with a zipper system that allows the chest pockets on the detachable liner to be worn on the tweed outer shell. The detachable hood and pockets are made with Polymorphic Ice, a cotton base treated with a heat-sensitive coating that displays a different range of colors as the temperature drops.

The jacket launches this Thursday, October 25, at Stone Island flagship stores, and the Stone Island app.
