Tokyo-based skate brand Evisen has teamed up with adidas Skateboarding for a five-piece capsule collection and sneakers. The collaborative effort meshes Japanese styling and graphics with the functionality of Three Stripes products.
Evisen also drew inspiration from sake labels. Founder Katsumi Minami explains, "All of them team are rare characters, they're all interesting in their own way, lifestyle as well as skateboarding. For the collaboration with adidas, our art director's idea was create a logo from sampling sake labels. The whole team loves drinking sake."
Included in the capsule are a heavyweight fleece crewneck, cotton long-sleeve tee, a water repellent woven pique fabric jersey, relaxed fit nylon track pants and a water repellent jacket. The Evisen x adidas 3MC sneaker comes with a leather upper, a rubber HexFlex outsole, red branding and liners and yellow stitching.
You can purchase the Evisen x adidas Skateboarding collection on adidas.com and select retailers on January 17. The 3MC sneaker will retail for $70.
