Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S10 lineup and Galaxy Fold yesterday in San Francisco.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Galaxy S line will come in four iterations, the S10e, S10, S10+ and S10 5G. All four models will come equipped with Samsung's best screen yet, the world's first Dynamic AMOLED display. This screen will also come equipped with the first-ever in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner which reads the 3D contours of a finger and not the 2D image of it.
The focal point of every smartphone these days is the camera. Building on previous R&D, the S10 lineup will feature an ultra wide lens with a 123-degree field of view and Super Steady recording technology that'll let you shoot in UHD. AI in the camera will also provide users with Shot Suggestion which will automatically recommend how to frame your photo.
U.S. carriers will carry the new S10 lineup starting March 8 in-store and online. The S10e, S10 and S10+ will be available in Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Blue and Flamingo Pink. The S10+ will also come in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White. The S10e will be $749.99, the S10 is $899.99 and the S10+ is $999.99. Pre-orders for the Galaxy S10 start today online and include a free pair of Galaxy Buds. You can learn more about the specifications on samsung.com.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lineup
In addition to announcing the latest S series lineup, Samsung also debuted the Galaxy Fold. As the name suggests, the phone is foldable. The phone features the world's first 7.3" Infinity Flex Display and a cover display. Samsung developed a new polymer layer and thinner display in order to make the phone fold. Folding is achieved via a hinge with multiple interlocking gears.
The new Samsung Galaxy Fold will come in Space Silver, Cosmos Black, Martian Green and Astro Blue and be available in the second quarter of 2019 in the U.S. at AT&T and T-Mobile carriers for a staggering price of $1,980. You can learn more on samsung.com.
