Since its founding in 1994, Supreme has never had to do a major renovation on its 274 Lafayette Street location, until now. Serving the SoHo and international community for a quarter century, the original location is undergoing extensive renovation and will force the brand to open a temporary relocation pop-up in its place at 190 Bowery Street.
For New York natives, the 190 Bowery space will be familiar as it was previously a bank and then an abandoned building on the corner of Bowery and Spring for a long time before housing the Totokaelo store for a few years.
Supreme's Instagram post announcing the location and giving us the first pictures inside simply read "While we renovate our Lafayette St. store, we are temporarily moving to 190 Bowery. 2/21/2019." It is unclear how long the renovation will last but the store opens to the public today for Supreme's Spring/Summer 2019 collection which you can take a look at below:
