The 91st Academy Awards took place last night and for fans of Spike Lee, the director finally took home an Oscar. Lee was wearing a purple suit and pants combination with a pair of custom gold "Oscar" Air Jordan 3's gifted by Tinker Hatfield himself when he stepped on stage to accept the Best Adapted Screenplay award for BlacKkKlansman.

Spike Lee's Custom "Oscar" Air Jordan 3s
Spike Lee revealed a custom pair of "Oscar" Air Jordan 3's before he took the stage for his acceptance speech last night. The pair sports a gold upper, including gold cement print, black and white midsole, red sockliner and clear outsole. A larger than normal Jumpman is on one rear heel tab while the other sports a 40 Acres and A Mule logo, the logo of Lee's production company.
