On Thursday night Elon Musk announced the new Tesla Model Y.

The company's fifth production car is a compact SUV. This Model Y actually fits perfectly into the current lineup to spell out "S3XY." All jokes aside, the new model promises to have an AWD dual motor and 300 miles of range. It will be able to seat 7 passengers and has a 0-60 mph acceleration of 3.5 seconds.

A 300 mile range would be the longest on any electric vehicle on the road. Tesla promises that a 15 minute recharge on their Supercharger will gain you 168 miles of range. Autopilot will also be available and a 15" screen will provide the driver with all necessary peripherals.

Price for the new Tesla Model Y ranges from $42,700 to $55,700 depending on upgrades and prices are including gas savings. Order yours now on Production is expected to start late next year.
