Hennessy is celebrating its Paradis Impérial, released in 2011, with two tributes to the passion it takes to make the rare blend. On average, only about 10 out of 10,000 eaux-de-vie from a harvest are selected for the blend.
Recently unveiled are a crystal decanter with arist Arik Levy and a trunk alongside Louis Vuitton. For the 750ml decanter, Levy worked with master crystal cutters in order to arrive at the final shape which shows off the color of the blend perfectly. LVMH's two founding entities teamed up on a trunk that can serve up to 18 people at a party with inspiration and tools used daily by the Hennessy Tasting Committee.
The trunk will be available for special order starting this month for $273,000 with an option to purchase the Nomad Case alone for $84,000. If you're looking for the decanter, you'll have to wait until May to purchase it for $3,000.
