TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist. showed its Spring/Summer 2020 show dubbed "Duet" at Paris Fashion Week.
Balancing black and white tops and bottoms, the collection references typical punk aesthetics that the brand is known for but also plays on references to authoritative figures and childhood dreams like a jockey cap, police and firefighter hats and motorcycle-esque pants and suit jacket. Belts with a heavily decorated buckle further the idea of the duet between childhood and adulthood whilst paired with oversized long johns and shirts. TheSoloist.'s version of the Converse ERX 260 Hi also makes its way onto the runway.
