Japanese label DIGAWEL started back in 2006 and is known for its simple and relaxed fits that combine highly sophisticated but fun detailing. Designer Kohei Nishimura originally just wanted to own his own business but it eventually turned into the brand.
For Fall/Winter 2019, we're presented with "External Drive" and an assortment of outerwear, tops and bottoms that follow through on the brand's usual aesthetic. Stripes and plaid are combined with denim and a variety of blues with loose fitting pieces all around. Layered work shirts and large utility belt pants are subtly incorporated into the otherwise relatively laid back collection. Collaborations with Lee and Yoshida are also worked in.
The collection will launch on July 20 via digawel.com.
