Phil Knight's memoir Shoe Dog is a must read for any Nike fan and now the Swoosh will be bringing to life three of the first name options the company played around with: Nike, Falcon and Dimension Six.
Taking the Classic Cortez model, the first running shoe released by the company, the three versions pay homage to the names. The "Nike" version sports a longer and slimmer Swoosh, the first ever logo designed by Carolyn Davidson. On the "Falcon" version, a graphic of the majestic bird depicts speed and motion. Finally, the "Dimension Six" mirrors the initial design that Phil Knight almost ended up going it. All three pairs feature white, red and blue colorways.
Don't forget that the Nike PG 3 "NASA 50th" releases this weekend while you wait.
