Sony's First Flight crowdfunding platform has just fully funded the Reon Pocket, a portable and wearable air conditioner and heater.
Using bluetooth connectivity to control the temperature, the device is the size of a card wallet and fits into the neck area of a custom shirt for you to wear around. It promises to either cool your body down to 23 degrees Celsius (73.4 degrees Fahrenheit) or warm you up to 36 degrees Celsius (96.8 degrees Fahrenheit). Reon Pocket also promises to have a 24-hour battery life using a USB Type-C plug.
Initially the target funding amount was ¥66,000,000 JPY (~$606,000 USD) and that mark has already been reached with 20 days left. To learn more, you can head over to first-flight.sony.com/pj/reonpocket.
