In order for a sneaker to be classified as FlyEase footwear it needs to meet the following three criteria: easy to open and close, easy to get in and out of and adjustability that accommodates different foot shapes and sizes. Nike's design philosophy for this sneaker was to create something that even athletes with disabilities could use and perform in.
On the Air Zoom UNVRS, the FlyEase technology allows for easy entry and exit on the shoe with the help of a magnetized heel that folds and connects to the midsole. An articulated strap with Flywire cables also makes one-handed access and operation possible.
Nike's Air Zoom UNVRS will be available in November. While you wait, check out the UNDEFEATED x Nike Kobe 4 Protro "Black Mamba" releasing in September.
