Sony has announced a 40th anniversary edition for its iconic Walkman.
Officially dubbed the NW-A100TPS, it will trade in old school cassette tape playing abilities for an Android-powered digital music player with 16GB of storage. The 3.6-inch screen will be Android app enabled and capable of connecting to Wifi. A headphone jack will be included as well as Bluetooth capabilities.
Way pricier than the original, this special edition will cost $599 AUD (~$410 USD) down under and €440 EUR (~$485 USD) in Europe. Sony hasn't announced North America release details but the other regions will start selling the device in December.
