The capsule collection not only is a celebration of NEIGHBORHOOD's 25th anniversary (the brand was founded in 1994), but also of the longtime friendship shared between founder Shinsuke Takizawa and WTAPS founder Tetsu Nishiyama.
Spanning flight jackets, jungle shirts, hoodies, crewnecks and tees, the designs are all heavily WTAPS essentials with NEIGHBORHOOD adding in the checkered pattern to celebrate the special anniversary and the brand's crossbones. The pattern is made with more than 100 woven names of the brands on each sleeve. For the jungle shirts, NEIGHBORHOOD will release an exclusive black version while WTAPS drops an olive version. The crew necks are cut and sewn to give off the feeling of sharing a Harley ride together.
Fans of both brands can start 2020 by purchasing the capsule collection on January 2 from both brands' stores and online. Previously, Nike SB fans were blessed with the Forty Percent Against Rights Dunk High, another brand of Nishiyama's.
