Nike and Jordan Brand will help fans celebrate Chinese New Year this year with a special collection of footwear and apparel.

Drawing inspiration for shoes that released in the previous four cycles of the Year of the Rat (YOTR) and the company's history in China, the designs are inspired by the Cortez from 1972, the summer of 1984 when China won it's first gold medal and Nike started its sponsorship of the Chinese track and field team, the Air More Uptempo from 1996 and the 2008 Hyperdunk which celebrates the Beijing Olympics as well.

Apparel includes tees, hoodies, jackets and more. Select silhouettes will have entire family size runs including the Kyrie 6, Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 13. Other sneaker silhouettes that are included in the collection include the Air Max 1, Air Max 720, Air Max 90, Air Jordan 34, Air Max 270 React and Joyride Run 2.

Look for pieces to release throughout the month of January leading up to Chinese New Year on January 25. In related news, Herschel just dropped their own Lunar New Year collection.
