Jordan Brand will celebrate Chinese New Year in China with a special Air Jordan 1 Low release.

The Year of the Rat is the start of the Zodiac calendar and thus symbolizes new beginnings while honoring the past. For the AJ1 Low silhouette, mismatched left and right shoes with asymmetrical patterns and contrasting colors accomplish this message. Kites, fireworks and the bai jia yi pattern (previously used on the Air Jordan 12 CNY) are all incorporated.

Fans in China can purchase the sneakers on January 10 for $ 1,099 CNY (~$159 USD) via SNKRS CN. In related news, check out the rest of the Nike and Jordan Lunar New Year collection.

Release Date: 1/10/20 (Friday)
