Back before the Nike SB Dunk craze, the Swoosh tested out various Dunks including the Pro B model which would eventually give birth to the SB Dunk we know today. One of the most sought after packs from 2001 was the "Ugly Duckling" Pack, a co.jp (concept Japan) exclusive.

The trio included the "Plum," "Cave/Ceramic" and "Veneer" colorways. Each one extremely colorful and made with only the most premium materials, if you were an OG collector back then you had to have these in your rotation. From the premium suede to the thick laces and extra padded sockliner, these sneakers were ahead of their time in colorways and functionality.

Now, with the Dunk craze going strong, Nike is bringing back the "Plum" colorway for a new generation of fans. The Swoosh even created a Japanese magazine-esque ad on their SNKRS app to announce it. Fans will be able to get their hands on the sneaker on February 7 for $110 via SNKRS app. In related news, the Air Jordan 1 Low "Chinese New Year" could get a wider release in February.
