New Era is celebrating its 100th anniversary and will be doing it in style.

The centennial moment for the brand encompasses not only the current scene but also reflects on the past. Therefore, the brand has announced that it will re-issue certain hats as well as present new collaborations this year alongside brands like Helmut Lang, Yohji Yamamoto, Levi's, Havaianas, Modernica and Casio G-SHOCK; artist Daniel Arsham; and Pentatonic.

Chris Koch, President and CEO of New Era says, "With humble beginnings in Buffalo, NY, where we still proudly call home to our global headquarters, the company has evolved from a small headwear company into a premier international lifestyle brand that includes apparel and accessories. We are extremely proud of our heritage and excited about the momentum we have as we embark on our next 100 years."

In addition to presenting new and old collections, New Era will partner with the Buffalo History Museum to present a comprehensive exhibition of the brand's history in Fall 2020. Over 150 pieces will be on display and include never-before-seen pieces.

While the 59FIFTY is the brand's most recognizable cap, they've also created many other important pieces of headwear history. Check out some of the hats below from the archives and keep your eyes peeled throughout the year for more announcements.
