Back in 1988, The North Face introduced a lineup of gear for its athletes that performed at the highest level, it was aptly named Extreme.

Throughout the '90s, the vibrant patterns, colors and designs of the Extreme gear would not only provide athletes the means to achieve greatness but also cater to a burgeoning streetwear scene where the colors and designs would speak differently about personality and flair.

Today, The North Face has announced it is bringing back the lineup. Extreme gear from the 1990 collection and color palettes from the archives make up the collection, which will release in two parts. The red and blue colorway is available as of today and the prices range from $32 to $240. The second colorway of black, grey and yellow will release on March 25.

Both collections feature items like caps, tees, bags, wind suits, hoodies and jackets. You can purchase via and at select retailers. The North Face teamed up with retailer INVINCIBLE at the end of 2019 for one of the craziest collaborations of the last decade.
