Last year, Nike unveiled the Adapt BB auto-lacing basketball sneaker to the world and changed the future of technology in athletic footwear. Now, the Swoosh returns with the 2.0 version of the sneaker.
For the updated version, Nike has added to their initial design with performance and aesthetic improvements. In addition to Cushion, the Air Zoom Turbo in the forefoot provides more bounce in the sneakers. The sneaker's power-lacing engine has also been reconfigured with a new midsole stack height resulting in a better heel to toe transition for players. Stretchier TPU material and a Flyknit shroud make it easy to put on and take off and creates a better fit. Finally, a pixelated outer and larger Swoosh open up the possibility for more futuristic colorways.
Check out the first colorway below and look for it to hit retailers on February 16. In related news, the Kyrie 6 arrives in a "Chinese New Year" colorway this weekend.
