Gucci has tapped chef Massimo Bottura for its new restaurant venture in Los Angeles.
The joint endeavor is taking place at the Gucci store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills which expanded more than 12,000 square feet recently. The restaurant will be the first of its kind in the U.S. for Gucci and will feature 50 seats. Open seven days a week for lunch (12-2:30 p.m.) and dinner (6-9 p.m.), the restaurant's main dishes are expected to be priced between $26 to $55 with desserts ranging from $14 to $20.
Massimo Bottura, the Michelin Three-Star chef of Osteria Francescana fame (formerly the World's Best Restaurant), is childhood friends with Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri. The two grew up in Modena, Italy together.
Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura will open to the public on February 17.
