Yesterday, Samsung unveiled the latest from its Galaxy family. Firstly, there is the S20 series, the first 5G lineup of phones from the brand. This includes the Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra. But the star of the show was probably the Galaxy Z Flip, which like the names suggests, is a foldable smartphone.
The key highlights for the S20 series, aside from the fact that everyone of them is 5G enabled, starts with a new camera. The S20 and S20+ feature a 64MP camera while the S20 Ultra has a 108MP camera. Space Zoom technology on the S20 and S20+ allow for up to 30x zoom while the S20 Ultra is able to hit 100x zoom thanks to 10x Hybrid Optic Zoom technology. All the phones in the series are able to shoot 8K video as well.
On the flip side, the Galaxy Z Flip phone features foldable glass, the first-of-its-kind. A Hideaway Hinge and custom-built UX help the 6.7-inch screen feel like home. The 21.9:9 ratio is the first for Samsung and the Infinity Flex Display is integrated with Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) to achieve the mind-bending design.
Samsung's new S20 arrives in Cosmic Gray, Cloud Blue and Cloud Pink on March 6. The S20+ will come in Cosmic Gray, Cloud Blue and Cosmic Black while the S20 Ultra comes in Cosmic Gray and Cosmic Black. Pre-orders will start on February 21.
