Last year, YCMC collaborated with New Balance on the 990v5 "Loyalty" that saw only 400 pairs get produced.
Now, the duo return for another collaborative effort dubbed "Big Checks and No Stress." The sneaker represents the spirit of success and takes design cues from federal tax refund checks. Cream and tidepool pig-suede covers the upper while a gradient mesh, TPU strap and "N" logo finish off the rest of the design.
Matching apparel for men and women accompanies the sneakers with tees, hoodies, joggers and leggings. The sneakers and apparel are set to release on March 6 for $175 while grade school ($100), preschool ($80) and toddler ($60) sizes are also available. Head over to Shoe City and ycmc.com to purchase.
New Balance is also collaborating with Aimé Leon Dore on runners that will release soon.
