COVID-19 has created an unparalleled landscape and scenario for everyone around the world. In response to the times, numerous corporate fashion brands have announced either monetary donations to reliefs funds, charities or are offering to enter the fight head on by shifting operations to manufacture medical supplies and PPE.
LVMH converted production facilities for perfumes and cosmetics into hydroalcoholic gel (hand sanitizer) manufacturing back in March and Dior, under the same umbrella, followed suit by converting a Baby Dior workshop into a mask production facility.
Nike was one of the first companies to respond during the crisis in the States by closing stores and announcing a community response. The company has donated more than $15 million USD towards relief efforts and charities and also committed $1.4 million USD back in January to the China Youth Development Foundation. In addition to helping fund research and providing aid and relief in necessary parts of the world, Nike also announced that its NTC Premium subscription-based service is now free of charge in the United States. New Balance donated a total of $2 million USD to Global Giving, No Kid Hungry and local community organizations and hospitals. In addition to that, they've converted their facilities into mask-making operations that meet federal regulations.
Under Armour also pledged $2 million USD. They split the donation between Feeding America and Good Sports. The latter is receiving money every time someone joins UA's workout apps, which are hosting 30-day health challenges.
Vans has just launched "Foot The Bill" which is a customization program that will support small businesses. Through Vans Customs purchases, skate and specialty shops, restaurants, music venues and other community businesses will receive proceeds. Skate shops that are participating include:

Ralph Lauren committed $10 million USD towards COVID-19 relief. Through the Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation, the money will be spread between the World Health Organization COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, the Pink Pony Fund, Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)/Vogue Fashion Fund and its employees in need.
Fast Retailing, the parent company of UNIQLO and Theory donated over 10 million masks to help medical professionals stay protected both in Japan and abroad. Over 1 million of those masks were sent to New York, the epicenter of the pandemic in the U.S. Crocs has also focused on helping the medical sector by launching a section on their website where medical professionals can request a free pair of Crocs.
Sports brand Fanatics, which makes MLB jerseys, converted its factory into a mask and gown production line to provide protection for healthcare workers. Hockey equipment manufacturer Bauer also shifted to making protective face shields. Finally, while not a fashion brand, LEGO is donating over $50 million USD to help children and learning during these times.
