Back in 2016, Apple launched the first generation of its iPhone SE which was meant to be an affordable alternative to top-of-the-line iPhone 6S during the time. Now, the company returns with the second generation of the phone, at the same affordable price point.
Starting at $399 for a 64GB version, the latest iPhone SE 2 takes on the exterior design of the iPhone 8 with a 4.7" screen and Touch ID home button while packing the A13 Bionic chip from the latest iPhone 11 models. The camera on the rear is a single 12-megapixel one with flash while the front-facing one is a 7-megapixel one. Portrait Mode will still be available to fans as well.
The iPhone SE 2 will arrive in black, white and (PRODUCT)RED variations. In addition to the initial 64GB offering, 128GB and 256GB versions are also available. Pre-order starts on April 17 via apple.com and will arrive at carriers on April 24. In related news, Apple has started producing PPE to combat COVID-19.
