atmos is partnering up with Lacoste for a tennis-inspired capsule collection. Following their ASICS and Sean Wotherspoon release, the Japanese retailer will bring another brightly colored apparel, sneaker and BE@RBRICK capsule to its fans.
The apparel for this collection sees a hoodie, polo and tees being offered. Lacoste's tennis DNA is harnessed with its iconic Crocodile logo getting a playful makeover to have the words "atmos" come out of its mouth in a speech bubble. This tennis ball-colored graphic covers the white hoodie and the black and white offerings for the polo and tee.
Footwear also channels the ball and racket sport. Lacoste's Balsa sneaker is given a fuzzy yellow makeover on the upper while a white midsole and grey outsole offer contrast. A dark green sock liner with atmos branding and varying colors cover the eyelets. Finally, both brands also collaborated with MEDICOM TOY on a 100% and 400% BE@RBRICK for the occasion. The entire collectible is covered in the tennis ball yellow except for a translucent circular section on its chest where you can see star pieces inside.
atmos will release the collection on July 3 via atmos-tokyo.com and in-store. The sneakers will retail for ¥16,500 JPY (~$155 USD), the hoodie for ¥20,000 JPY (~$185 USD), the polo for ¥17,000 JPY (~$160 USD), the tee for ¥10,000 JPY (~$95 USD) and the BE@RBRICK for ¥13,000 JPY (~$120 USD). In related news, the KANGHYUK x Reebok Premier Road Modern "Jet Black" will release on the same day.
