Appearing in black and orange, the low-top sneaker draws cues from the Chuck Taylor II in terms of its outsole. Referencing the sport of skateboarding, the Chevron and Star logo is customized with tape and an "X" is added on the lateral sides as well using the same material. Both the tongue tab and heel tab also echo this design decision and Union's "UN/LA" labeling can be found on the heel inseam.
Fans can purchase this collaborative effort on July 17 via converse.co.jp. Each pair will retail for ¥14,300 JPY which is about $135 USD. Converse is also teaming up with fragment design and Moncler on Chuck 70's for the latest 7 MONCLER FRAGMENT HIROSHI FUJIWARA collection.
