Nike ISPA (Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt) launched back in 2018 and the experimental and innovative label has just previewed its upcoming collection for the year.

In order to combat constantly changing human conditions, Nike ISPA has created footwear and apparel products that meet the goals of today's athletes. They have combined Nike technology like React, Air Zoom and Dri-FIT into city and outdoor ready designs.

Five footwear pieces anchor the collection and they include the Zoom Road Warrior, Overreact FK, Overreact FK Sandal, Flow 2020 and Drifter. The first silhouette, the Zoom Road Warrior, channels elements from running, basketball and trails. It combines a double stack of Zoom pods and double foot plates and has an open heel like the early Shox prototypes. A knit upper makes it breathable. This model will release on July 10.

The Overreact FK and its Sandal counterpart prominently feature React technology in the outsole and adds even more interlocking geometrical shapes for more comfort. The sock liner and strobel were also removed. An upper comprised of Flyknit and recycled yarns allows for intricate patterns but also maximum comfort and breathability. On the Sandal variation, the upper is stripped down further for the extremely warm months. The Overreact FK releases on July 9 while the Sandal drops on July 31.

In order to balance stability, style and breathability, Nike ISPA crafted the Flow 2020. Inspired by extreme sports athletes who need to be at their absolute lightest in terms of gear, this pair's outsole is based on heat maps of human foot hotspots. The perforated upper allows for maximum breathability and strips all unnecessary weight. You can purchase this pair starting August 13.

Finally, the Drifter model channels traditional Japanese Tabi and work boots. The foam used is regrind Nike ZoomX foam and a unique lacing system is employed with features tying the laces through a zigzag strap on the lateral of the shoe. This webbing is supposed to create a "lockdown" fit. This pair will release on September 1.

Bringing everything in the collection together are apparel pieces. Nike pays homage to its Nike Airvantage from 2006 with the new Inflate Jacket. The Women's Shorts draw inspiration from Tempo running shorts while BMX, motocross and skydiving drive the design ethos behind the Pants. A Bodysuit and Long-Sleeve Dri-FIT Top round out the selection.

Nike is hosting a digital event for everyone to learn more about the products on July 6. You can participate via In related news, the Space Hippie collection will release tomorrow.
