Back in April, Japanese label meanswhile released their Fall/Winter 2020 lookbook titled "ERROR." Now, the brand has teased a new jacket that has its own AC built in. Called the "Air Circulation System Rain Jacket," it will be a convertible jacket/vest outerwear piece.
This sort of design seems to be the direction that a lot of brands will now start to move in the direction of, especially for outdoor wear that will be used by those that hike, climb and fish in all conditions. Hiroshi Fujiwara's fragment design and uniform experiment labels have been creating similar parkas and vests with BURTLE for the last two years so the technology in this piece will probably be similar.
meanswhile says that the jacket will be on sale in September but they will host a pop-up in the Isetan Men's Store in Tokyo on July 8 to take pre-orders. Check out the images below for now. In other fashion news, Nike recently previewed its upcoming ISPA collection which will release in the upcoming weeks.
