The design inspiration for the sneaker comes from Tatum's son, Deuce. Sharing frequent trips to the zoo together, the father and son come across many of the animals that adorn the upper of the PE. Faux tiger, cheetah and zebra prints are mixed together and given contrast with the bright red Eclipse Plate.
Additional details also appear in red like "Welcome to the Zoo" on the heel, "Deuce" inside the tongue, "STL" on the sockliner to pay homage to Tatum's hometown of St. Louis and "JT" initials on the front of the tongue.
Concepts will launch the sneaker exclusively on July 29 via cncpts.com and at their Bolyston Street location. A wider release is set for July 31. Retail will be $195. In related news, Concepts raised over $133,000 for My Brother's Keeper through their Nike SB "Lobster" raffle.
