adidas Terrex has just introduced three new PROTOHYPE trail running sneakers to the market.
Co-created with distance runners, these were designed not only to go the distance but to do so on all types of terrain. The series includes the Agravic BOA, Terrex TWO Parley and Terrex TWO Ultra Parley. The latter two feature a knitted upper made from recycled ocean plastic in adidas' ongoing partnership with Parley for sustainability and all three sneakers have Continental outsoles.
If you're going for long distance, you'll want to consider the Terrex TWO Ultra Parley which has a BOOST midsole and a wider forefoot. Mid-to-long distances are the bread and butter of the Terrex TWO Parley with a wide toe box and EVA midsole. Finally, the Agravic BOA always for custom adjustments via its unique lacing system so it's the recommended pair for alpine terrain.
adidas has made the entire collection in both men's and women's variations and available through adidas.com. The Agravic BOA is $150 and available now. Both the Terrex TWO Parley and Terrex TWO Ultra Parley will release later this month for $170 and $200 respectively. In related news, adidas recently unveiled the adizero adios Pro runner.
