It's hard to fathom that BAPE and Clarks Originals have never collaborated on a pair of footwear. But that's all changing this weekend.

Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Clarks Desert Boot, the British mainstay has tapped the Japanese imprint for two colorways, wheat and gray. Both pairs feature laser engravings of iconic BAPE logos like "APE SHALL NEVER KILL APE," the APE HEAD and more. Clarks' signature crepe outsole pays homage to a tried and true design a leather lining with co-branding finishes off the shoe.

In addition to the Desert Boot, the two also cooked up a pair of camo-themed Wallabees. A must-have in any closet, the suede on these pairs are covered in a pink and seafoam green while the vamps get the camo treatment. "MANHUNT" runs down the toe box area and a "shark tooth" patterned tread finish off the design.

Both silhouettes and colorways will be available on August 8 at BAPE stores, Clarks' website and us.bape.com. Earlier this year, Clarks donated shoes to healthcare professionals in England to help fight COVID-19.
