Korean electronics giant LG has just unveiled a game-changing face mask, the PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier mask.
With the COVID-19 pandemic still changing our daily norms and life, this new invention is meant to "resolve the dilemma of homemade masks being of inconsistent quality and disposal masks being in short supply," the company's press release said.
Ergonomically designed to fit snug against the face, the PuriCare Wearable features two H13 HEPA filters which are combined with Dual Fans and patented Respiratory Sensors to filter clean air in and "detect the cycle and volume of the wearer's breath and adjust the dual three-speed fans accordingly." A 820mAh battery promises eight hours of operation in low mode and two hours on high.
And if you're worries about cleanliness, the mask comes with a case equipped with UV-LED lights to kill germs and charge at the same time. The mask also connects to the LG ThinQ mobile app and components like the filters and ear straps are all recyclable.
