Last Friday, adidas and Donovan Mitchell took a stand against police brutality, specifically the shooting of Jacob Blake.

In the process, adidas halted all releases over the weekend and instead, Donovan Mitchell pledged to donate all the proceedings from his D.O.N. Issue #2 launch for 45 hours and up to $45,000 towards a college scholarship fund for Blake's children. adidas pledged to match the donation up to $45,000, totally $90,000.

The official statement from adidas read as follows:

"adidas stands in solidarity with athletes, coaches and cultural leaders driving positive disruption and demanding justice for the senseless shooting of Jacob Blake and the many whose lives have been impacted by systemic racism.

Donovan Mitchell and adidas will donate all proceeds from the sales of the D.O.N. Issue #2 launching today, up to $90,000, to a college scholarship fund for the children of Jacob Blake.

In support of those voices being heard, all other product releases scheduled to launch this weekend will be postponed across adidas stores,, the adidas app and CONFIRMED."

You can check out the D.O.N. Issue #2 on now. As a result of the halted product launches, the upcoming YEEZY 700 V3 "Azrareth" will now drop on September 1.
