The celebration is taking the form of two distinct bottles - the Frank Gehry X.O will retail for $230 while a way more limited edition Masterpiece gold and glass bottle (with only 150 decanters being produced) will be available for $17,000. And what's a celebration without some fireworks right? Hennessy teamed up with Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang to create a fireworks display that can be viewed here.
To help support those who've been impacted by COVID-19, Hennessy will donate all proceeds in the US from the Masterpiece sales to Unfinished Business, the brand's initiative to help small businesses through the pandemic.
Additionally, Hennessy is launching a V.S limited edition Gold Bottle for $40 and a V.S.O.P Privilege x United Visual Artists (UVA) collaboration for $60. The former taps Julie Ho and Nicholas Andersen from NYC's CONFETTISYSTEM to cover the bottle in gold. On the latter, the London-based artist collective channels their "Harmonics" light installation and a theme of time blending for the bottle and time capsule-inspired case.
All the bottles will be available this fall. In other news, Stadium Goods is opening in Chicago.
