News recap from November November 17 to November 23

Thanksgiving this year may (and should) look a little different with COVID-19 cases on the rise once again. While a possible vaccine is supposedly going to start distribution next month, we urge everyone to stay safe and continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing. That also includes shopping and the Black Friday and Cyber Monday traditions. We've rounded up some of the drops and news from last week and this week that we hope you exercise caution to obtain. Air Jordan 4 "Fire Red" release info

After its initial unveil earlier this year, and a shock drop and exclusive access release, the Air Jordan 4 "Fire Red" makes its triumphant return this week. Arriving in a full family size run, the "Nike Air" and original packaging and hangtag are welcome details we haven't seen on the colorway since its OG release back in 1989. SNKRS app and retailers will drop these on November 28 for $200.

Jordan Brand Spring/Summer 2021 release info

Jordan Brand recently unveiled their Spring/Summer 2021 lineup. Comprised of 11 sneakers in total, three are exclusive to the ladies - including the first-ever Air Jordan 9 for women. The season's color palette focuses on bright colors like University Blue for UNC-inspired designs as well as Starfish Orange. Check out the full range below and get ready to see classics from the mid-2000's return too.

Staple x atmos x New Balance X-Racer "Crow & Pigeon" release info

Staple has teamed up with atmos and New Balance on a new sneaker collaboration that also comes with an accompanying apparel collection. Taking the X-Racer model, Staple has given the silhouette a black, purple, grey, white and pink makeover. The colors reference past New Balance collaborations. For this pair, a pigeon is placed on the left heel while a black "crow" is placed on the right. A selection of hoodies and tees tie everything together. This collection will be available through atmos via lottery. You can enter between November 24 to November 26 and the winner will be selected November 28. Retail for the sneakers will be ¥15,400 JPY, about $150 USD.

Nike Kobe 5 Protro "Bruce Lee" and "Bruce Lee Alt" release info

In celebration of Bruce Lee's 80th birthday, Nike is bringing back the extremely popular colorway inspired by the Jeet Kune Do master on the Kobe 5 Protro. The yellow version originally appeared on the Kobe 5 back in 2010 and has appeared on other sneakers like the Kyrie 3 as well. A cleaner white alternative colorway will also release alongside the traditional yellow one. Whether you grab the yellow pair or white pair, you will channel the mentality and energy of both Black Mamba and Bruce Lee with these on.

Air Jordan 1 x J Balvin release info

J Balvin will break barriers later this year as he becomes the first Latinx artist to collaborate with Jordan Brand. Selecting the Air Jordan 1 silhouette, the Colombian musician adds colores (colors) and vibras (vibes), the names of his 2020 and 2018 albums onto the timeless classic. The edges on the toe box are given a jagged makeover along with other panels and the artist's smiley face logo adorns the heel and tongue tab. These will drop on December 8 globally.

WTAPS x Dr. Martens 1460 release info

Dr. Martens continues to celebrate their 60th anniversary through the 1460 Remastered Series with a collaboration featuring WTAPS. Channeling series military functionality, WTAPS adds a classic steel toe cap on the boot alongside buckle fasteners that replaces traditional laces while adding carabiner clips to the heel tag. Embossing on the sides of the boots finishes off the military look. Head over to and select retailers on November 28 to purchase.

Steve Harrington x L.Ercolani by Ercol Stacking Chair release info

British furniture brand L.Ercolani by Ercol has teamed up with artist Steve Harrington for a limited run of their Stacking Chair. This collaboration helps celebrate the 100th anniversary of the brand's furniture making DNA and Harrington's "Our House is on Fire" art is etched into the base of the chair. Aimé Leon Dore x Clarks Originals release info

Aimé Leon Dore has teamed up with local New York rapper Nas to unveil the lookbook for their new Clarks Originals collaboration. Selecting the Wallabee, ALD has fashioned four exclusive colorways, all handmade in Portugal. The Casentino wool has frayed pieces to give it a unique look and a leather collar and classic crepe outsole bring everything together. ALD released the shows last week and additional retailers will drop them on November 25.

AMBUSH x Converse Chuck Taylor Holiday 2020 collection release info

After teasing a Nike Dunk High collaboration last month, Yoon Ahn and AMBUSH unveiled their collaboration Holiday 2020 collection alongside Converse. Two colorways of the Chuck Taylor All Star Duck Boot and Fuzzy Chuck 70 were introduced. The Duck Boot arrives in a bright blue and black and is inspired by the 100+ year history of Converse as a rubber company. These feature a Chuck Taylor All Star Lugged outsole. BBC ICECREAM x Jimmy Gorecki capsule collection release info

When the BBC ICECREAM Skate Team was formed back in 2004, Jimmy Gorecki was one of five original members. Now, Gorecki's Standard Issue Supply factory has crafted a collaborative collection with ICECREAM featuring the famous Cone Man and Skating Cone graphics. Check out the collection below which includes a hoodie, tee and sweats with "VOLUME 1" on them to reference the Skate Team's only skate DVD, Team Ice Cream Vol. 1 from 2006. Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals HU NMD releasing in white

After the black colorway of the HU NMD dropped last week, adidas Originals and Pharrell are bringing a white colorway to the market this week.
