CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "Cha" release info
After CLOT brought back the Air Max 1 "Kiss of Death" earlier this year from a 15 year hiatus, it teased a prototype AM1 pair from 2006. Now, the "Cha" colorway is finally going to release. Inspired by cha "茶" or tea, and the culture around drinking it, the translucent sole mirrors the "KOD" pair while a Rocky Tan upper and Medium Brown midsole and panels represent the tea leaves. Sport Red Swoosh and heel branding finish off the selection. Only fans in Asia will have a chance to purchase these on May 21 via JUICE store locations.

KAWS:HOLIDAY Hot-Air Balloon launches
Continuing to expand his artist mediums, KAWS partnered with AllRightsReserved to launch the KAWS:HOLIDAY Hot-Air Balloon project earlier in the week. Taking into account everyone's longing for travel during the pandemic, the project started out in the United Kingdom for its inaugural flight. The balloon itself measures 42m (~138 ft) tall, making it one of the world's largest hot-air balloons. This project will make its way across the world so look out in a city near you.
Aimé Leon Dore Porsche 911SC campaign
After an initial teaser announcement last week, Aimé Leon Dore has officially revealed their second Porsche campaign. Featuring the 911SC, the old school car with filled on the interior with pictures, classic bead cushions on the seat backs, colorful floor mat, and an assortment of luggage on the roof rack. The car will be on view at the ALD flagship store in NYC from May 21 to May 23.
BAPE x New Balance capsule collection release info
BAPE has teamed up with New Balance for a full capsule collection that is releasing this weekend. Included in the apparel selection are co-branded tees, a special Shark hoodie, reflective pullover fleece hoodie and shorts. BAPE's iconic ABC CAMO covers the pieces in olive and grey. The standout in the collection is the relatively new 2002R sneaker. It arrives in two colorways: black or grey, and have 3M Shark teeth on the heel. All items release on May 22 at BAPE stores.

Nike SB is celebrating beloved team skater Paul Rodriguez, who has 10 signature sneakers with the label, with a "What the" Dunk Low. Taking the blueprint of the "What the Dunk" from 2007, this homage to handfuls of PRods collaborations and colorways over the years is going to be highly sought after by fans of the Mexican skater as well as collectors and resellers alike. SNKRS app will drop these on May 24 for $150, but with the way their draw system is set up, that's a hard W to get. Check with local skate shops for raffles and contests.

J.Crew names Brendon Babenzien as Chief Menswear Designer
Noah's Brendon Babenzien has just been named Chief Menswear Designer by J.Crew. Babenzien, who served as Supreme's design director before co-founding Noah, has the pedigree and know-how to bring the struggling brand back to life. J.Crew filed for $400 million USD Chapter 11 bankruptcy a year ago. Libby Wadle, J.Crew's Chief Executive said the brand is looking to "disrupt the business." Only time will tell but this is an exciting hiring for Noah fans and J.Crew lovers alike.
